When is tuition due for Fall semester at BYUI?
The financial deadline for tuition and fees for the fall semester, including charges that are late, refunds, finaid (financial aid) and deadlines for registration are due as described below for BYU-Idaho students.
16th of September |
Full Semester and First Block classes begin |
16th of September | PAYMENT DEADLINE for Tuition, Fees, and Student Health Plan |
23rd of September |
Late Charge of 5% added to any unpaid balance not paid by this date |
23rd of September | REGISTRATION DEADLINE – Last day to drop individual Full Semester or First Block classes and get a tuition refund |
8th of October |
FINANCIAL AID DETERMINATION DATE (FADD) for Students enrolled in Full Semester and First Block classes |
11th of October |
Last day for students enrolled ONLY in First Block classes to withdraw completely from ALL classes and receive a pro-rated tuition refund |
30th of October |
Second Block classes begin |
30th of October | Payment Deadline for students enrolled ONLY in Second Block classes |
6th of November |
Late Charge of 5% added to any unpaid balance for Second Block classes not paid by this date |
6th of November | REGISTRATION DEADLINE for Second Block – Last day to drop individual Second Block classes and get a tuition refund |

Last day to withdraw completely from ALL classes and receive a pro-rated tuition refund (NOTE: If you have both Full Semester and Block classes, the First Block deadlines apply to you. There will not be a refund if you withdraw after Oct. 11th) |
